Who we are
Onyx Digital is a web design, development and marketing studio based in Waukesha County, Wisconsin, operated by M2 Productions LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company. In this policy, ‘Onyx Digital’, ‘we’ and ‘us’ mean M2 Productions LLC. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit onyxdigital.co or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email sales@onyxdigital.co and a real person will answer.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a contact form or email us, we receive what you send: typically your name, email address, business name or website, and your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical details such as your IP address, browser type, device, the pages you visited and the time of your visit. Our site analytics are privacy-focused and do not build a profile of you.
Cookies. We use a small number of cookies and similar browser storage so the site works properly and to remember the choice you make in our cookie notice. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we ever add analytics that use cookies, we will ask for your permission first.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal or audit you asked for, deliver services you have hired us for, keep the site secure and running, and understand which pages are useful so we can improve them. If you have asked to hear from us, we may send occasional emails or text messages about our services; every message includes a way to opt out, and you can stop them at any time by replying STOP or emailing sales@onyxdigital.co. We do not sell your information.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers we need to run the business: our website hosting platform, our email provider, and, where you become a client, tools used to deliver the project such as design, hosting or analytics platforms. Each provider is bound by its own privacy terms. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Information we handle for clients
Some of our clients use a marketing platform we operate on their behalf: lead tracking, review requests, email and text campaigns, advertising and reporting. When you interact with one of those businesses, any information about you in that platform belongs to that business and is handled under its instructions and its own privacy policy. We act as a service provider to the client, use the information only to deliver the services the client has asked for, and do not use it for our own marketing. Questions about that information should go to the business you dealt with; if you contact us instead, we will pass your request along.
How long we keep it
Contact form messages and emails are kept for as long as needed to respond and, if you become a client, for the length of our work together plus a reasonable period afterwards for records. Technical logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop using it. Email sales@onyxdigital.co and we will respond within a reasonable time. You can also block or clear cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though it will ask you about cookies again.
Children
Our site and services are for businesses and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be called out on the site.
Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use this site. We build to recognized accessibility guidelines and keep improving. If something here does not work for you, email sales@onyxdigital.co and we will fix it or get you the information another way.
